When most of us think about Australian animals, we tend to either picture something terrifyingly vicious or absolutely adorable.
While I’m a huge fan of watching scary animals in action, today I’ll be offering something much less menacing for your viewing pleasure. If you really need something to smile about right now, you’ve definitely come to the right place.
Little George the wombat was found on the side of the road and taken to The Australian Reptile Park in New South Wales, where it’s safe to say that he stole everyone’s hearts. He is now in the care of wildlife conservationist Tim Faulkner, who decided to treat us all to a video showing just how cute George is.
“It will be hard work to get him back to the point of returning to nature (and hard on my heart to be honest!) but it’s a challenge I’m willing to accept to ensure he has a long, healthy life,” Faulkner said.
