How would you feel if your child was responsible for the death of another? Parents who don’t vaccinate their kids often have to ask themselves that very question.
When Annie Mae Braiden’s daughter, Isabelle, was just six weeks old, she contracted whopping cough from an unvaccinated child. Whooping cough can be deadly in very young and very old people, but the baby is slowly recovering after fighting for her life for over a month in the intensive care unit.
Braiden had every intention of vaccinating Isabelle, but she was still two weeks away from the suggested eight-week DTaP vaccine that protects against whooping cough when she came into contact with an unvaccinated child.

No doubt, the parents who chose not to vaccinate their kid thought it was a “personal decision.”
But seeing this baby girl fight for her life proves that nothing could be further from the truth.
In addition to coughing, fever, and trouble breathing, Isabelle suffered through morphine withdrawals and extreme pain. She spent three weeks hooked to a ventilator.
Her mother took to Facebook with an important message to all parents. She said, “What you do with your kids is your choice, but do not tell me that not vaccinating your kids isn’t hurting anyone but your own kids. Isabelle is proof that it harms the other little babies who aren’t yet old enough to get their vaccines.”
Sadly, cases like Isabelle’s aren’t exactly rare. Despite numerous studies proving that vaccines do not cause autism, many parents hold onto the fraudulent claim.
Just this past summer, an anti-vaxxer dad was sentenced to four months in jail after his son died of bacterial meningitis.
Luckily, little Isabelle is finally home and recovering from the ordeal.
In the words of this concerned mother, “Please vaccinate your kids. Please share so other people can see what happens when you don’t vaccinate!”
