Part of the fun of going on vacation to a different country is trying new and different things. Whether it’s the local cuisine or checking out the native wildlife, exploration is the name of the game. That is, unless you’re paying a visit to Thailand’s tourist attraction Elephant Kingdom.
Photos of park visitors packed onto a flimsy raft feeding vicious crocodiles pieces of meat have recently gone viral, and they’re understandably causing quite a storm. In fact, according to Mirror, just hours after the images hit the web, government officials shut the park down for a 90-day investigation period.
If that sounds like a bit of an overreaction, just wait until you see the crocs in action…terrifying.
Watching that video is giving me contact anxiety. I can certainly see the appeal in coming that close to such powerful creatures, but I don’t think I’ll be trying it anytime soon.
