This Man Just Did Something So Selfless For Someone He Doesn't Even Know

Sometimes superheroes don’t wear fancy costumes. In fact, sometimes they don’t even wear capes (or shoes) at all.

We all talk the talk when it comes to making the world a better place, but we don’t always walk the walk. And we certainly don’t walk the walk barefoot. But one man in Guatemala did just that when he stopped in the street and selflessly gave his brand-name sneakers to a complete stranger in need.

He may not have wanted recognition, but the video has been seen well over 100,000 times.

He didn’t know he was being filmed. Here’s the footage, which was captured by a nearby tourist.

The best part? He doesn’t wait around to be recognized. He offers a simple but warm pat on the shoulder and continues on — truly selfless.

No “thank you” needed. He just takes off into the shadows (okay, daylight) like a good superhero.
