In the world of serial killers, Ted Bundy stands apart. From 1974 to 1978, Bundy terrorized the Pacific Northwest, Utah, Colorado, and finally Florida before he was put behind bars for good. All told, police believe Bundy was responsible for at least 30 murders, and possibly many more.
When he was executed in 1989, many believed this was the end of his evil presence in the world. However, depending on who you talk to, Bundy’s spirit might be living on in a very creepy way…
According to guards at the prison where Bundy spent his final days, the killer’s ghost was supposedly spotted casually sitting on the electric chair. Those who saw the ghost described his expression as a “knowing smile.”
After his execution, Bundy’s ghost was spotted regularly inside the execution chamber. At one point, according to former guards, the warden couldn’t find anyone willing to enter the chamber alone.
One guard even reported Bundy reappearing in his old death row holding cell. “Well, I beat all of you, didn’t I?” he would sometimes say to the guards who spotted the ghost.
However, just as Bundy traveled the country in real life, so does his spirit. There have been numerous anecdotes of Bundy’s ghost being seen in the Chi Omega sorority house in Florida where he committed some of his last murders.
Finally, Bundy’s ghost has also been spotted in Washington state at the University of Puget Sound where he attended college. The university is also where Bundy began his years-long killing spree.

While these are just stories with no hard evidence, I can’t help but feel that there is something to them. If ghosts are tortured souls with unfinished business, I would imagine that the ghost of Ted Bundy would fit that description nicely.
