After her father was diagnosed with colon cancer, 12-year-old Evie Clair decided to use her musical talents to inspire her beloved dad to fight through the illness, all while helping to raise money for treatments.
You can easily tell how emotional Evie is in this touching tribute as she talks about her dad’s survival chances. That being said, this dedicated daughter is clearly not giving up. She created this inspiring cover of Survivor’s “Eye of the Tiger” to keep Dad focused on the fight ahead.
“I made this video to give my dad a boost to keep going,” Evie Clair told KSL.com. “He is the best dad in the world, and I want him to know how much support he has. I don’t want him to worry about bills, just getting better and doing what he’s always done — taking care of everyone around him…He can heal hearts and minds in such an amazing way. I’m blessed to have him as my dad and to be able to use my talents to help him.”
