In most cases, this is done simply to add new patients to the roster in hopes that the exams will result in returning customers. One pre-teen in New Zealand, however, walked into an eye care clinic looking for a new pair of specs and left with a new lease on life.
Eleven-year-old Micayla Clark-Mackenzie walked into a Specsavers store in Whangaparaoa with her mother in search of a new set of frames to replace the pair she’d been wearing since she was eight.
