Selfless Mother Shuts Herself Inside Burning House To Save Her Children

On October 26, Angel Fiorini woke up in the middle of the night to a strange smell. Within seconds, she realized the terrible truth — her family home was on fire with all three of her small children inside.

With her husband away at work, it was up to Fiorini to save the kids. Immediately, she was able to locate her three-year-old son, Vinny, and 18-month-old daughter, Rosalie. She brought them outside, but when they tried to follow her back into the burning house, Fiorini did the unthinkable. On a mission to save seven-year-old Gianna, she shut the door, trapping herself inside with the fire that was roaring through her family’s life.

After Fiorini had trapped herself inside the house, she found her third daughter, Gianna. By this point, the home was filled with smoke. Unable to find the front door, Fiorini put her daughter to the floor and laid on top of her. Both passed out within seconds.
