According to Sandy Hook Promise, a non-partisan group formed after the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting, 80 percent of school shooters and 70 percent of people who commit suicide tell someone about their plan. That’s why the organization wanted to put out a public service announcement to inform people of the most common warning signs to look out for. The video is particularly effective because it shows how easy it is to miss those early indicators in the background of life.
