With Stray Game Pieces From Around Her House, She Crafted These Cute Coasters

As a child, Scrabble was one of my favorite games to play with my family.

It could have something to do with the fact that I was beating my parents and grandparents with the vocabulary of a nine-year-old. But after seeing what this blogger created with old Scrabble tiles, I might need to brush the dust off my childhood fave and put it to DIY use.

All you need to begin this word-lover’s craft is corkboard, Krazy Glue, an X-Acto knife, and some Scrabble tiles.

With all her supplies handy, Amy of Mod Podge Rocks was ready to make Scrabble board coasters.

She glued down the tiles in a four-by-four pattern. Be careful though, Krazy Glue dries krazy fast!

After letting the glue dry, she cut around the tiles with the X-Acto knife.

No mess, no stress. In mere minutes, she crafted these wordy coasters that are sure to boost the vocabulary at your next dinner party.

Now I’ve said time and time again that I’m not the craftiest person I know, but even I could score a few points with this simple and easy Scrabble design.
