When Scott Dunn got into a terrible car crash last month, his family and friends weren’t thinking about what he’d be missing when they put him into a medically induced coma.
Rather, they had one goal in mind — for him to recover.
But when the East Juniata High School student woke up a week later, his first thought was quite unexpected. He asked what day it was and upon realizing he’d been asleep for days, not hours, he sullenly said, “I missed my graduation.”
Benjamin Fausey, the principal of the Pennsylvania school, heard that Dunn was recovering…
He began contacting students, asking that they come back to school — something many probably weren’t quite excited to do. But when he told them the reason why? They didn’t hesitate for a second!
