What This Man Did For A Grieving Bride Made Her Big Day So, So Special

Like so many women, Jeni Stepien dreamed of her wedding day from the time she was a child.

She’d get her makeup done, put on a beautiful white dress, and vow to spend the rest of her life with the person she loved. Dad would walk her down the aisle.

But all of that came to a screeching halt when her dad was murdered in Pittsburgh back in 2006. The father of two never came home to his family that night, but he did end up saving a life. A man named Arthur Thomas was in desperate need of a heart transplant, and when Stepien died, he gave Thomas a second chance at life. The Stepien family and Arthur Thomas, whom they call Tom, always kept in touch.

On the night before Jeni’s wedding, they met for the first time. What he promised to do for her is incredibly touching.
