Music is a special kind of medicine. It can give a person hope and inspire others.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation grants the wishes of children with a life-threatening medical condition once every 37 minutes in the United States. These wishes range from trips to Disney World to serving as a police officer for a day and are a unique way to make the kids forget about their health issues, if only for a day. However, it’s not common that a miracle kid chooses to honor someone else with their wish.
But that’s exactly what 15-year-old Andrew chose to do with his miracle wish. The teen was diagnosed with a life-threatening autoimmune disease and knew that there was only one way he wanted use his wish. During his miracle celebration, Make-A-Wish volunteers, family, and friends joined in to surprise Andrew’s mentor and piano teacher, Mr. Fischer…
Check out the grand reveal and learn more about Mr. Fischer’s impact on Andrew’s life.
