Personally, I like to travel as safely as possible. I always wear my seatbelt, I watch the safety instructions on flights…you get the idea. I’m not exactly a daredevil.
That’s why what 18-year-old Alex Nomernoy does gives me major anxiety.
Not only does he hop onto trains, he rides around on the high-speed cars risking his health and his record. It’s not exactly legal…which is understandable! The trains that he jumps onto — everything from the busy underground to cargo and commuter rails — can (and do) travel up to 150 miles per hour.
If your palms are already sweating like mine are, watching it all go down from his perspective is even more incredible.
Telling the Daily Mail, “I really like traveling, to observe the world from different angle from roofs and towers.” And boy does he accomplish that.
I mean, what if his foot slipped?
I think I’ll stick with traveling by trains…on the inside.
If you’d like to live vicariously through Nomernoy’s heart-pounding urban explorations, you can do so on his YouTube channel.
