Before he was saved, Seymour the dog lived his life in constant fear and loneliness.
The Los Angeles streets were his only home, and he ran in terror from anyone who tried to approach him. Even though he was surviving, it was obvious to passersby that he wasn’t doing well.
When someone finally called Hope For Paws and told volunteers that a little dog needed their help, they rushed out to find him with actress Jaime Ray Newman in tow. When they got close enough to catch the sleeping pup in a schoolyard, the surprise scared him so much that he began fighting for his life. But when he realized that they were trying to rescue him, he finally learned to trust the kind people who were about to change his life forever.
His reaction to Newman is so sweet.
