This Person Was Going Through Old Family Photos When They Spotted Something Creepy

Though I believe it’s very possible that ghosts do exist, I’ve never actually seen one.

I’m definitely fine with that, as I’m sure I’d completely freak out and be terrified to ever sleep at night again. But I also think that it would be quite the experience to see one for myself.

Redditor Njfurlong didn’t exactly meet face-to-face with a spirit either, but they did notice a strange, ghostly figure while organizing their family photos.

Taken in 1944, this picture may seem pretty ordinary at first glance. However, if you look a little closer, you’ll see the outline of a woman standing behind the Furlans just outside of their New Zealand home.

The woman appears to be wearing clothes that were in fashion long before the 1940s. That dress style was popular anywhere from the late 1800s to around 1910.

What’s creepier is that Njfurlong said, “My aunt saw her a few times while growing [up] there in the 60s/70s. Beside or at the end of her bed, she wore a fitted white bodice style dress with a dark broach at her waist, dark hair up in a bun.”

The house has since been demolished and nobody else has seen the mysterious woman, but I have to wonder if she still lingers on that plot of land.
