This Kayaker Just Jumped In For A Swim With A Killer Whale And I'm Speechless

As most beachgoers took in the sight of a pod of orcas along the coast of New Zealand, one kayaker decided to take an even closer look.

Paddling out to the middle of the ocean, this kayaker got an opportunity to get up-close and personal with a killer whale. Once he reaches the orca in the video below, our brave kayaker can be seen jumping off his kayak, at which point he starts swimming with the whale. What could have been a deadly event instead turned out to be one of the most beautiful synchronized swimming routines I’ve ever seen.

There’s nothing more exciting than witnessing man and animal become one with each other. I’m not sure if I would have been brave enough to try this, but the footage is absolutely breathtaking.
