This Is Absolutely Not What You Want To Wake Up And Find Living In Your Sink

Let’s tackle a simple fact here: Almost no one really likes spiders. Sure, they eat mosquitos and won’t bite unless you really provoke them, but that doesn’t change the fact that we humans have a natural (dare I say evolutionary?) aversion to spiders.

And that’s why most of us would be sufficiently horrified if we woke up one morning and saw this nonsense.

Redditor JebusChrysler was greeted with this horrific sight one day. All of those yellow dots are baby spiders.

And to make matters worse, their mother was lurking close by.

It was probably a wolf spider, like the one pictured below.

Wolf spiders are unique in the way that they carry and care for their young. After they’re born, the young spiders all climb up on their mother’s back for protection while they grow.

Luckily for JebusChrysler, wolf spiders rarely bite humans. They will only do so if they are provoked and even then, the effects of such bites are usually only swelling, mild pain, and itching.

Sadly, the invasion of JebusChrysler’s home proved to be a deadly offense for this wolf spider and her babies. Let this be a warning to all arachnids out there!
