Is Elvis really dead? According to the widely accepted story, the singer’s unresponsive body was found on the bathroom floor of his Memphis, Tennessee, home on the afternoon of August 16, 1977. He was 58 years old. Officially, the cause of death was organ failure from years of poor diet and drug abuse.
However, not everyone accepts this story of his death as the truth. The more conspiracy-minded people out there believe that Elvis is alive and well somewhere, and that he faked his own death to get away from his life and live like a normal person. YouTuber The Shadow is one of those people.
Earlier this month, he posted a video of an elderly groundskeeper at Graceland (Elvis’ former home). He believes this man might’ve been Elvis himself. I will admit he bears a striking resemblance to the man, who would be 81 this year if he were still alive.

What do you think? While I’d personally love to believe that Elvis is still alive out there somewhere and plotting his comeback, this particular theory of Elvis as a groundskeeper seems especially absurd to me.
