The baseball world was stunned by the tragic passing of Miami Marlins pitcher Jose Fernandez after the 24-year-old athlete died in a boating accident last Sunday.

The footage shows him getting a surprise reunion with his grandmother, a person he described as his best friend and the love of his life.
