When trying to pull off an incredible stunt, you have to expect that something might go wrong. The only bad part is that things going wrong could lead to your demise. Despite the risk of death or severe bodily harm, people still attempt to act like daredevils. Usually, everything is fine…until it isn’t. Take, for example, the story of Slovenian diver Andrej Beuc.
Earlier this month, Beuc died while attempting to dive off of a bridge into the Drina River — which is on the border of Bosnia and Serbia — during a diving competition.
The bridge (pictured below) was about 60 feet from the water and normally would have been an easy dive for Beuc, who was an experienced jumper and skydiver.
However, something went wrong when he hit the surface of the water.
Beuc was able to get his head above water and signal that he needed help before slipping back below the surface.
Divers were quickly dispatched to find Beuc, but the strong current and muddy waters continue to make things difficult for rescue crews as they work to recover his body.
Here is the footage of his fatal accident. WARNING: This is not for the faint of heart.

As of this writing, they have still not found Beuc’s body. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family in this time of great sorrow.
