If you’ve ever wondered what employees at fancy ad agencies do all day in New York City, here’s your answer…

While Canal Street is probably best known for its Chinese food, the NYC street is also home to countless advertising firms. And this past week, an epic war broke out between them.

It wasn’t over a potential client, money, or even a cool campaign…no, it was over which of the creative agencies could put together the most impressive Post-It Note window display.

What started out with a simple “Hi” spelled out by one competitor, has escalated into what must be eating up hours of their workdays…

First, supplies are gathered — in secret, of course.

Concepts are dreamed up — the sky is the limit.

Here’s just how long these windows take to make…

While others tout their clients (or favorite social media companies).

The results are truly tremendous.
