When her parents were deciding what to get her as a present recently, they came up with the best idea.
Knowing she’d go crazy for an American Girl doll, they got her one…then they shipped it to a New York-based company for a special upgrade.

Courtney Fletcher Bennett, Emma’s mom, made sure the doll looked just like her, prosthetic leg and all.
The little girl’s reaction is just the best thing ever! “It’s got a leg like me!” At the end, I think she said what we were all thinking, “Thank you for making a doll like me!”
