In October, Amanda Kofoed found a lump under her arm. At the urging of a friend, the 30-year-old mother of four went to the doctor. The diagnosis was devastating. She had stage 3 Hodgkin’s lymphoma, and no health insurance to help pay for treatment.
Immediately, a friend set up a GoFundMe page for Amanda. Even though donations were coming in, they weren’t near enough to pay for her expensive treatment. That is, until PRAYnksters, an organization devoted to performing random acts of kindness, heard about her situation.
Amanda and her husband, Clint, were asked to go to a local coffee shop to film a GoFundMe video, but they were in for a big surprise. Just as they began to tell their story, people started pouring through the door. As they filed past, they placed $100 bills in front of the tearful couple.
Watch as Amanda and Clint are surprised by a flash mob carrying $100 bills. All in all, the generous act raised over $13,000.
