Walmart is a store where seeing something out of the ordinary is actually expected. Usually that “out of the ordinary” translates to something gross or bizarre…and it’s generally not life-threatening. That is, unless you happened to be shopping at a particular Phoenix, Arizona, Walmart last week. Let’s just say what happened was very, *ahem* explosive…
It began as an ordinary day at this Phoenix, Arizona, Walmart.
That is, until these vandals (pictured in the security camera footage below) showed up.
For whatever reason, they decided it would be a good idea to light up the entire fireworks display inside the store and hightail it out of there.
Many people mistook the fireworks for gunshots, while others were worried about smoke inhalation.
The damage was so bad that the store needed to close the following day for cleanup crews to get inside.
As of this writing, police are still looking for the people caught by security cameras leaving just before the fireworks started.

Well, that’s certainly one way to celebrate the 4th of July. Still, though, that was an extremely dumb move. They’re lucky no one was seriously injured when those fireworks started going off.
