In the food service industry, there is nothing more disturbing than walking into the kitchen and seeing something gross. Luckily, thanks to stringent health and safety standards, the odds of this happening are actually pretty small. That being said, unsavory stuff does happen now and then. One time, I saw a rat just chillin’ in a restaurant kitchen, and the worst part was that no one seemed to care.
