They say dogs are man’s best friend, but for this lovable pooch, he has a whole town full of friends to choose from.
Living in a small town can be both a blessing and a curse. Typically, people know each other by their first names, but such pleasantry means that everyone knows all of the local dirt. The people of Longville, Minnesota, however, are more interested in seeing their local celeb than they are in spreading rumors.
Bruno the dog has been making the same four-mile trek into town for the last 12 years. Walking along the highway, he makes stops at the local deli, city hall, and even makes time to visit his friends at their individual houses. He has become such a welcomed part of the town that a statue was commissioned in his honor.
The dog…the myth….the legend…BRUNO!
I need to seriously step up my friend game. I’m lucky if I see my best friends once a month, let alone once a day.
