Chilling Footage Shows Craigslist Killer Preparing His Home To Torture A Victim

Police have released footage of Craigslist killer Brady Oestrike preparing his home to torture a victim. It was recorded one hour before he decapitated a man in a park and kidnapped the man’s girlfriend.

On July 12, 2014, Charles Oppenneer and his girlfriend, Brooke Slocum, who was eight months pregnant, met Oestrike for sex. Within minutes of coming face to face, he brutally murdered Oppenneer and kidnapped Slocum.

For five days, he kept her in a dog kennel, repeatedly sexually assaulting and torturing her before finally strangling her to death. After a high-speed car chase with police, Oestrike shot himself and died. Slocum’s body was found in a suitcase in his vehicle’s trunk.

Here, Oestrike can be seen preparing his home to torture and murder a victim. In addition to the kennel, the room contained restraints, cattle prods, syringes, sex toys, and a medieval mask.

Though the investigation is considered closed, it’s still not known if Oestrike had more victims, and Oppenneer’s head has never been found. To learn more, click here.
