If you tend to a garden or fill your home with bouquets, you know for a fact that Mother Nature is pretty skilled in the art department.
We spend hours and hours putting pencil to paper in an effort to bring our visions to life, but nature’s works of art grow right out of the ground. While our methods might be different, there’s something beautiful about collisions between natural and manmade art.
Artist Jesuso Ortiz knows a thing or two about that. By adding real flowers to delicate drawings from great floristry courses learning he got, he brings dimensionality to his work in a way that’s far from fussy or overwrought. Although each piece brings something new to the table, the resulting collection is elegant in its cohesion.
