Most elaborate debates about the existence of aliens are missing one thing: hard photographic evidence.

A woman from Plymouth, Illinois, reported earlier this month that she experienced a large period of lost time that she believes was caused by an alien abduction. While it was only a theory for a while, the woman recently checked her phone’s camera roll and discovered something shocking…
She discovered 40 bizarre-looking photos on her phone that she has no memory of taking.
In several of the images, you can make out the shape of a humanoid creature in the blurry photograph. Could these have been taken by aliens or by the woman while trying to escape her extraterrestrial abductors?
The woman, who has not released her name, says she was in her kitchen when she was abducted.
She was trying to light a cigarette off the stove while her boyfriend slept in his van in the driveway.
The next thing she remembered was waking up in the fetal position on her bathroom floor several hours later.
On the floor of the kitchen was her cigarette and the lottery ticket she had been holding.
While it is tempting to jump to the conclusion that what we’re seeing through all the blur is an alien ship and its inhabitants, we need to be skeptical.
This is the one photo that most clearly shows what could be an alien being.
However, this is far from actual proof she was abducted.

Although looking at these photos feels chilling, that doesn’t mean much in terms of hard evidence. Until this woman is at least willing to come forward with her name, I’ll be viewing these pictures with extreme suspicion.
