In the United States alone, there are over 100,000 forest fires each year. Sadly, we are responsible for the majority of them.
These fires can destroy entire ecosystems and leave some baby animals, like this bear, orphaned. Luckily, though, this little one was rescued, and afterward, he had the cutest reaction.
Watch as this baby bear shows his hero just how thankful he is to be alive. Looks like he needs a new mother — and this guy’s it!
