This Murderer Found Inspiration For His First Kill From A Movie

In 1991, Nathaniel White was convicted of abducting a 16-year-old girl.

But before he even began his prison sentence, he brutally killed 29-year-old Juliana Frank, who was pregnant with her third child. Police had no idea that he was the perpetrator at the time, so White got away with it. He went off to prison shortly after and was eligible for parole in April 1992, after spending only one year behind bars. She was just the first of his murder victims.

The most disturbing part about Frank’s murder is that White later said in a confession that he had gotten inspiration for this kill from watching “RoboCop 2.” He said that he had seen a character in the movie slitting a person’s throat and then cutting all the way down the chest to the stomach, so he did the same thing to Frank. Later, he left her body on abandoned railroad tracks in Middleton, New York.

After being released on parole and returning to Orange County, White quickly went on a murder spree, starting with his girlfriend Jill Garrison’s 14-year-old niece, Christine Klebbe. She had been missing for two days when her family reported it on July 1. Her body was found near a road about a month later in Goshen.

A little over a week after killing Klebbe, White targeted another of his girlfriend’s loved ones. Garrison’s close friend, 34-year-old Laurette Huggins Reviere, had even let her children sleep over at their house. Her body was found inside her home in Middleton.

On July 20, White met Angelina Hopkins and Brenda Whiteside at the Blue Note Tavern in Poughkeepsie. They left with him in his truck, which was the last time either of them was seen alive. He beat them to death and left their bodies in this farmhouse in Goshen, where they would be discovered in early August.

Angelina Hopkins’ sister, Cecilia, had seen them leaving the bar with White and three other men that night. Though she filed a missing person’s report, police didn’t have enough information to do anything.

White’s last victim was 27-year-old Adriane Hunter, who also lived in Middleton. He viciously stabbed her to death on July 30 and left her body near the same farmhouse, which was found later that day.

After the New York State Police came across Hunter’s body, they began to suspect it was connected to the other murders. With Cecilia Hopkins’ help in identifying him, they went back to the Blue Note Tavern on August 2 and found White, where they arrested him.

White quickly confessed to all of the murders and even led the police to the farmhouse where he had dumped Hopkins’ and Whiteside’s bodies. About a month later, he was convicted of six counts of second-degree murder and was sentenced to 150 years to life in prison.

White is currently at the Attica Correctional Facility, where he will spend the rest of his life.

I’m sure I speak for all of us when I say I’m glad he’s rotting in prison.
