Animal duos are among the sweetest things to grace this planet.
There’s just something about the bond between four-legged critters that makes my heart melt. Maybe it’s because they provide emotional support to each other, or because they just really enjoy spending time together. Either way, it’s always a treat to see animals become best friends, like the adorable pair below.
Hoshi, an American Eskimo dog, became blind when he was 11 years old. Having been able to see up to that point, you can imagine how hard it became for him to get around. But this pup never has worry, because his awesome buddy has his back.
A few months before Hoshi had to have his eyes removed because of glaucoma, his owner and her partner had adopted a Pomeranian named Zen.
And as soon as Hoshi had the surgery, his new friend noticed and began helping him move around. He turned out to be such a big help that the couple began attaching a leash between the two of them so that Zen could be be his guide.
The duo quickly became inseparable, even without the leash. Zen is an incredible buddy!
They spend every second together and wouldn’t have it any other way.
And Hoshi can rest assured that this little guy will never lead him astray.
Zen saved Hoshi from what would have been a very difficult life.
The power of friendship is so amazing, especially between dogs. Here’s hoping these two have many more years of fun and snuggles ahead. If you want to see more of this doggy duo, you can find their Instagram page here.
