They Poked Hundreds Of Holes In This Rock Quarry For One Seriously Epic Reason

When workers at the Bremanger Quarry in Norway needed to produce 360,205 tons of rock, they went to drastic lengths.

To begin, they drilled hundreds and hundreds of holes into the rocks over a 20-mile area. After that, they filled those holes with a staggering 68 tons of dynamite to pull off the biggest blast in Norwegian history. Once everything was in place, workers got as far away as possible and detonated the explosives.

That’s a pretty overwhelming sight to behold, people.

The sheer power of that dynamite is pretty insane when you think about it. Just like that, a hulking work of natural art was blown to bits.
