“Snakes…why did it have to be snakes?” Ahh, the immortal words of Indiana Jones from the 1981 classic “Raiders of the Lost Ark.”
Why, indeed, Mr. Jones. Why, indeed.
Like many of our readers (I’m sure), Jones has a serious fear of snakes, and the above quote is his refrain when he encounters the reptiles during the movie. I’m sure it was also something that South Carolina resident Matt Hyatt muttered to himself when he returned to his Greenwood home to find it had been invaded by two very large snakes.
Oh, and did I mention that they were wrapped around each other…hanging from the ceiling?

Luckily, Hyatt was able to get rid of one of the snakes, but the other is still at large. “Anyone want to come for a sleep over at my place tonight?” he joked on Facebook.
