Animal abuse is the intentional infliction by humans of suffering or harm upon any non-human animal, regardless whether the act is against the law. Now, playing with your cat is a completely different topic. When you play with your cat, you're most likely tossing a ball of string around. Now, before you rage, think about this, and rewatch this video closely; are these people REALLY 'scaring' their cats, or are the cats simply curious of objects they have never seen before? Like I said, these objects are new to them, so maybe the owner decided to record their cat walking around, who eventually came across a balloon. Again, neither the owner nor the cat knew how the cat would react; everything's different. This is in certainly no way of abusing your cat, or any creature. This is plainly curiosity. Same with the mask and all those other things. The cat simply reacted in a certain way that triggered you 7th grade girls. And please, don't hate on this. It's simply what I think. Good bye.
