In today’s article we are going to write about one really shocking story – one woman set her husband on fire because he sexually abused her 7-year-old daughter. Namely, Tatanysha Hedman found that her husband, Vincent Phillips sexually had molested her daughter. She took the matter in her own hands and lit this 52 years old man on fire.
Probably many of you are interested how that actually happened. This 40-year-old mother waited for her husband to go to bed, and when he was asleep, she poured a combustible liquid on him and lit a match. It is even more shocking that she admitted to police that she intentionally set him on fire and explained that shooting him would have been ‘too nice’.
Vincent Phillips did not died and now he is being charged with a 1st degree sex crime. On the other hand, Hedman faces arson charges and assault charges.
The question is: should Hedman’s mental state at the time result in a lenient sentence when it comes time for the criminal court to address her situation of the crimes she is being charged with? What is your opinion?
It is interesting that majority people across the country are worried that she will be punished, for her crime in passion. At this moment, Hedman is in jail and is waiting for a court hearing.
