What This Police Officer Does Every Day For Senior Citizens Is So Inspiring


There is so much more to being a law enforcement officer than simply going around and catching the bad guys.

For many of these brave men and women, it’s just as much about helping others and brightening their days with simple acts of kindness.

Senior Corporal Warren Davis spent 15 years on patrol duty before he felt a higher calling. He decided to turn his compassion into an initiative to help those who need it the most: senior citizens. Davis now works for Project Checkmate, which is an incredible social service that has officers checking in on senior citizens in the Sumpter, South Carolina, area. He’s is responsible for reaching out to 33 senior citizens, and it’s a job that’s close to his heart.

These seniors are so blessed to have him in their lives. He really goes the extra mile to make sure they’re safe, healthy, and most of all, happy. We should all follow his lead.
