One of the best parts about dog rescues is seeing how grateful they are to their saviors.
I can only imagine how terrifying it is to be trapped or dying without knowing if help will ever come. When help does come for these pups, the relief must be completely overwhelming. Some critters are so thankful, in fact, that they never want to leave their rescuer’s side.
When a police officer was called out to someone’s house, he found this poor dog stuck in a fence. After he cut him free, the pooch quickly ran off, but that wasn’t the last that this officer would see of him.
“Please take me home with you, wonderful hooman.”

I’m not sure whether the officer actually adopted this sweetheart or not, but here’s hoping he did.
