This Guy Transformed An Old Pickup Truck Into An Awesome Indoor Bar

Being aware of your shortcomings is important.

And one of my biggest weak spots is not knowing anything about cars or how they work. All I do know is that they eat up all my money and they get me where I need to go. Oh, and another thing? I’m not the craftiest person ever.

That’s why I’m totally amazed by the fact that Reddit user ccrew95 combined automotive know-how and crafting skills into something that I do know a lot about: the bar. He was able to overhaul the front end of a 1951 Ford F3 and transform it into an awesome indoor bar equipped with beer on tap and even a POS for Liquor Store system o charge customers.

He purchased the front end, wheels, hood, and bumpers of an old pickup truck and set out to build a bar that any car lover would enjoy.

He gave the entire underside of the truck a good sanding before spraying it with bed liner and attaching the legs.

Our builder cut off parts of the fenders that were rusty and repaired the damage with Bondo.

He wanted a bar top that was reminiscent of an old pickup bed, so he cut one from red maple.

He gave the front end a much-needed makeover with a new coat of paint.

The crafter then added some chrome trim to the side of the counter.

Next he built a shelf to match the countertop that would eventually store beer and liquor.

Some LED lights gave the bar a more modern vibe!

I really feel like I need one of these.

Okay, I may not have the skills to build myself one of these bad boys, but if you’d like to check out the full instructions, you can do so here.
