They Were Out Whale Watching When They Witnessed Predators In Action

We all know about the food chain, but it’s not very often that we get to see it in action.

I’ve never witnessed an animal being hunted by another in real life, and I hope I never do. But I have to admit that there’s something incredible about watching nature run its course, and I’m sure these people would agree.

During a tour in san diego whale watching, tour guide Nick Templeman and his group finally got to see the killer whales they’d been looking for. But when a seal jumped straight into their boat, they realized that it was desperately trying to escape from the same whales they wanted to see.

I’m honestly a little shocked that they entertained the idea of kicking it back in!

The poor thing was absolutely terrified.

And for good reason. The whales wouldn’t stop circling the boat and searching for their would-be lunch.

But eventually, they gave up and swam away. The lucky seal dove back into the water and received a warm sendoff from its accidental saviors.

Phew! I know this is part of life, but it sure is terrifying. Is anyone else tempted to sing this song right now?
