Can Paper Cut Wood? Man Finds Out By Using Paper On A Circular Saw

As a kid, I always thought paper was the wimpiest player in rock, paper, scissors.

It’s easy to imagine a heavy rock crushing a pair of scissors and it’s a well-established fact that scissors can, in fact, cut paper. But I’ve always wondered how paper could win just by covering a rock.

Well, as it turns out, paper is a lot tougher than you might think, as proven in this short video by carpenter John Heisz. To test its durability, he created a circular saw out of paper and sliced through a piece of wood.
