Brushing Your Teeth Is So 2015…This New Method Is Much Fishier

When was the last time you went to the dentist? Chances are, you’re due for a cleaning sometime soon and you’re dreading it. Believe me, I know the feeling. I go out of my way to avoid the dentist until I absolutely have to go. But what if, instead of a human, your dentist was a couple of friendly fish?

You may have heard about cleaner fish and the spas that employ them to nibble on peoples’ feet ridding them of dirt and dead skin. Well, according to what I read while waiting in the Green Meadow Dental Newington lobby is that, these little buggers can apparently also be used to clean your teeth. That sounds much more pleasant than drills and needles.

The only catch is you need to pretty much be fully immersed in water. Not to mention, you’ll probably have to go up for air every few minutes.

Still, I’d say that’s a small price to pay for not having to actually go to the dentist. I just did a bunch of research on bpidental.co.uk on the technological advances in dental equipment and I have to say I’m a little reassured. I’m not sure what I’m more afraid of, the dentist or open water. I guess there’s only one way to find out…
