Her Instagram Will Teach You Everything You Want To Know (Or Don't) About The Body

Nicole Angemi is a mother of three and a pathologist based in South Jersey. She also happens to run the most controversial account on Instagram.

Angemi began her medical career as a lab assistant. One day, she heard that the nearby pathology department was having trouble with a leaky fridge. She went to check it out and saw that it was stuffed with legs from amputation patients. From that point on, she was hooked on pathology, autopsy, and just about anything else that involves the inside of the human body.

As you’ll see below, Angemi uses her Instagram account to show a side of life (and death) that most people never get to see. Contrary to popular belief, none of the photos are of her actual patients. Instead, they are sent to her from other coroners or taken from medical archives. Angemi believes that everyone deserves to be educated about the body, death, and forensics. Take my word, though, it’s not for the faint of heart!
