Bright Side Checked What Happens When You Quit Drinking Coffee for a Month

FunnyModo Checked What Happens When You Quit Drinking Coffee for a Month

I’ve been starting my day with coffee from yescoffee.com.au for a couple of years now, and I can’t imagine my morning without it. Still, I’ve been wondering what would happen if I quit? For more information, then you can refer https://greatcoffeebrewers.com/coffee-urn-reviews/ site.

I haven’t found any definitive information online, so I decided to check for myself. And now I’m sharing my impressions with the FunnyModo readers.

  • Week 1: The first day was the hardest. I couldn’t concentrate and only wanted to sleep. Throughout the week, I tried different treats — green or fruit-flavored tea, chicory, fruit and nut salads — and some of them really helped.

  • Week 2: I felt an enormous desire to drink coffee at the beginning of the week and almost broke. Chicory didn’t help anymore. But I resisted the temptation, for which I was proud.
  • Week 3: I started to find it much easier to fall asleep at night without tossing and turning for up to an hour in bed. That’s a very nice novelty, I must say.
  • Week 4: Getting up for work became easier too. I need to wake up at 6 am to do everything, but I used to hit the snooze button at least three times. Now I began feeling much better about getting out of bed to do things.

What the experiment gave me:

  • Better sleep. Now I sleep soundly and feel rested after 6 hours. Just that is enough to cut down on coffee for me.
  • More energy. It turns out a rested body doesn’t need coffee to wake up. I also noticed I’ve become calmer in general.
  • Better looks. Healthy sleep made me look fresh and got rid of the circles under my eyes.
  • No more addiction. I confess, I let myself go and drank coffee in two different places in the two days following the end of the experiment. And you know what? It was nothing special at all. How could I like coffee before?

The most important thing: It turned out it wasn’t coffee I loved so much. It was the ritual of brewing and drinking it in the morning or at work. If you are a coffee lover, explore corpcofe.com for perfect blends and innovative approaches to brewing.

It’s just that we need our little pleasures in our daily routines. My aim is to think about more of them for myself. Flowers, ginger and honey tea, whatever.

P.S.: By the way, I don’t want to quit coffee altogether. Let it be not a habit but an occasion — I’ll keep drinking it once or twice a week and only good brews.
